Default Orders in 7-hero?

TBH i'm really not experienced with playing melee xD So:
Couldn't find anything about it anywhere. Neither on wiki or here on the forum. So i may be blind at searching... :S just couldn't find it. I've been looking trough several PvX 7-hero builds to use on my melee chars. All of them contain skills like Splinter Weapon and SoH. Neither of them contained a order necromancer.

Do orders not stack with SoH or is it just not effective enough? Or would it be a wasted hero-slot?

Thanks in advance!

It's hard to justify such an expensive skill (high energy costs, time intensive, health sacs are a nuisance and Blood Magic is fairly weak) when, typically, only one person will be benefiting from it.
Order of Pain and Order of the Vampire do stack with all other buffs though, just not with each other (OotV ends if you're under another Necro enchantment).

Well I saw the build at PvX: http://www.gwpvx.com/Build:N/any_Orders_Necromancer

Just wondered why it's not in the hero builds as it's vetted as great there. Well thanks for your answer anyways!

Yeah, PvX is terrible for getting a general sense of things.

After a few years of playing GW I feel still completely noob xD But atleast i begin to realise that your right.

But if it's about the order build. Would it be useful to put one in or better keep the hero-setups as they are?

Orders, as xeno said are really worth it only whne you have more physical users in you team.
For example, teams with 3/4 Rangers with barrage/volley benefits a order way much more than if you're playing meele, and monopolizing every physical dmg buff.
It's not useless, but there are better alternatives in that scenario, that's all.

I've been using orders in a paragon/roj party works quite nicely.
I have been using N/P with OoV, OoP, fall back and "help me!" .
He is usually still the first to die, but with some flagging and micro it works good.

Good utility but only worth it cuz of my 3 Paragons, who also use Gfte,Ao-Envy, FtW + Ebsoh : / ect

I agree with the above sentiment that its only good if you have at least 3 meele.

Anything less and I'd rather have a mesmer pumping out damage

I find having 2 dedicated physical damage dealers to be the point where I would justify an orders in the party. If you have more, than great (There are 3 physicals in my personal physway hero team build), but don't bother if you're only using one physical.

I've been running this setup on my warrior. Its been successful in doing HM Mount QinKai in 16-17min, completed HM Oola's, HM Vloxens so it will handle pretty much all of the HM stuff anyone needs to do. I'm open for suggestions if people wanna give some input just thought I throw it out there showing the setup using both order buff and splinter/SoH.
